Neil Mackie
The company was established in Hong Kong by Neil Mackie, who is a hedge fund veteran and thought leader with more than 20 years’ relevant experience in COO, Compliance Officer and ODD consultant roles in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. Neil is also an active member of the AIMA Hong Kong Development Committee.

Significant ODD Experience
Prior to establishing Dalhousie Governance, Neil was a Partner and Head Of Operational Due Diligence (ODD) for Asia Pacific at Albourne Partners, a leading alternative investment consultant. Across an eleven-year career, Neil was involved with close to 400 ODD exercises on hedge and private markets managers and funds on behalf of institutional investors.
Institutional Investor Mindset
Neil has proven abilities in communicating detailed feedback to managers and global investors on non-investment risks and recommendations on their mitigation in line with both industry best practices and peer group standards.
Prior COO / Compliance Officer Experience
Neil is able to support emerging and smaller managers in particular, leveraging off his prior work experience multi-hatting in COO and Compliance Officer roles across a nine-year period at smaller UK and Asian hedge fund managers.
